Another reason to start blogging and sending emails is to create a space where your clients can know who you are, what you do, and to teach them about your products and services. Blogging also helps boost SEO quality by positioning your website as a relevant answer to customers' questions.

More importantly, the blog section of your website is where you will gain the most benefit in SEO and keyword placement to gain organic traffic outside of your on-page data. Blog posts use a variety of on-page SEO tactics that will help your brand show up in search which will make your site appealing for visitors searching for products and services you may have.

While your quality should speak for itself, formatting your blog and emails is equally important for the quality of your brand.

Making lots of content is priceless to your brand. Outside of daily content, it is said to make and send at least 3 or more blogs and emails per week to create an aggressive Marketing strategy.

So how do you create and format a Structural Blog and E-mail:

Most learners want to get straight to the point. The age of writing a book, and lengthy blogs and emails are long gone. We want immediate information in such a way that we can easily find the highlights and important parts of a blog or email and act on it. Additionally, the eye is drawn to things that offer ease and readability when it comes to written information.

Below are some ways to gain authority in your niche by formatting your blogs to SEO standards and emails for consumer readability:

  1. Optimize for SEO

Let’s start with blogs from an SEO perspective. Just as we optimize our product pages, we must optimize our headers of our blogs with our keywords as well. Search engines crawl a blog page and select relevant words for search. Search engines recognize those phrases and heading tags to understand what the blog is about and position your blog in front of those people who search for your keyword or topic.

Make sure your header tag is clear and concise of the topic and hand. Make sure it contains appropriate long or short tail keywords to strengthen the presence of your blog on the internet. Once your blog shows up on search, the reader will click on your website to explore more. The goal is to get the reader to your website to see what you have to offer.

  1. Use proper Header Hierarchy!

It is important to use the correct header tag hierarchy to define the importance of your story and product pages. Just as in witting in grade school, you have the

title, the body, the sub-categories, lists, and sections. In SEO, header hierarchy is equally important to the formatting of your blog and your site architecture.

Header tags range from <H1> (the most important) to <H6> (the least important. The <H1> header tag should only be used for the title across your websites, emails, product pages, and blogs. H1 is important in your site structure and is equally important in your product description. This is usually a bold text, represented as the title and showing what the content is able. <H2> title tags should be used for section headers within the content. <H3> should be used for list and sub-headers within the sections and so on.

  1. Utilizing Bullet Points, Numerical List and Dashes

In the online digital world, we are moving to more of a visual style whereas we learn by lessons outlined, charts, pictures and how to’s.

We want to include the following for readability to get straight to the point:

  • Bullet points make our content look clean and professional. These can be full sentences but often are phrases to pull out key points. The use of punctuation is optional when using bullets.
  • Numerical lists are best used for content that describes a sequential order approach. Numerical can be used for “how to” or a listing of facts and next steps.
  • Dashes are often used for visual variances. Dashes often create a sense that something is about to happen next. The “BIG” reveal. Although dashes are equally important, try not to use both dases and bullet points in the same blog for the same purpose.
  1. Spacing

When we write or create a “copy” for e-commerce we must understand the importance of spacing. Spacing for e-commerce is not the same as writing in school. We will never write a story or book format for online purposes. It will be too long, and the reader will quickly bounce off your page to someone else’s.

Here are some Suggestions for Spacing when writing Blog content  or Copy for your website:

  • Use a double space in-between sub-headers and paragraph text
  • Make sure any text you’d like to highlight is on its own line
  • Make sure to create a “hard return” for images to allow for padding in-between content, images, and text

There is nothing more disappointing when you cannot understand the most important key points. And when things look like a blur or a long run-on mess when skimming your copy.

  1. Use BOLD and Italics in your BLOG, Email and copy for your website!
  • The use of bold is great for headers and sub-headers. This allows the mind to quickly focus on the topic rather than reading all small print.
  • Italics is great for tips and references. It is also a great tip to use italics when you are personalizing your about message.

There are a lot of different ways to achieve credible results through blogging and email marketing. Knowing your exact keywords and placing them where it counts matters most. Writing great copy and content with the correct structure will give you a greater authority and quality score to move in front of the crowd in your niche. Investing time on creating blogs on your page will boost activity just as off page and ads. The organic approach is greater when trying to build a solid foundation for your business and it starts with blogging and emails. But 1st we must now the basics and implement them correctly by practicing with trial and error.
